The signals originate from sources on the left, such as satellite antennas, and are processed by front-end equipment including encoders and content servers, then converted into IP data streams. These data are then transmitted efficiently and stably through the IP/MPLS network and converted from electrical signals to optical signals by devices such as optical line terminals, allowing long-distance transmission over the fiber network. Finally, the optical signals reach the user end (such as homes or office buildings) through splitters, where they are received and converted by the optical network unit in the user's premises, providing users with high-quality television, video-on-demand, and internet services.
