Eoc Slave Modem with Wifi
EOS-204W is the EOC slave based on HomePlug AV solution for Ethernet access over coax. It works together with EOC master which is based on HomePlug AV solution as well to construct a two-layer Ethernet data transmission channel on CATV coax cable, provide the Ethernet access service based on the existing coax cable networking. EOS-204W is the slave with 4 Ethernet ports and WIFI.
This EOC Slave Modem with WIFI is based the Qualcomm chipset solution, with high anti jamming capability OFDM technology. The 7.5-65MHz low frequency band is used for EOC signals. Built in high isolation filter as CATV RF and EOC signal mixer, the EOC signal and CATV signal in 87~862MHz can run on one cable without interference. The PHY Layer speed is 600Mbps,the MAC Layer throughput is up to 320Mpbs.

FAQ
Q: What is eoc slave?
A: EOC Slave is a user-end device in the EOC (Ethernet Over Cable) system, responsible for converting data signals on coaxial cables into Ethernet signals and transmitting them to the user's terminal devices. EOC Slave can have various interfaces, such as RJ45 Ethernet ports and RF ports, and may integrate WiFi functionality to support different types of user needs.
Q: What are the application scenarios of the latest EOC technology?
A:The applications in smart cities include urban traffic management, environmental monitoring, and public safety, enabling efficient data collection, processing, and analysis, thereby improving the intelligence level of urban management.
In the field of IIoT, it is used for equipment condition monitoring, production process optimization, and predictive maintenance. These applications help to increase productivity and equipment reliability.
Applications in the financial sector include risk control, anti-fraud and precision marketing. Through the data analytics platform, financial institutions can better manage and leverage data and improve the accuracy of business decisions.
With the continuous expansion of the smart home market, EOC technology can upgrade the home network to a high-speed broadband network to meet the requirements of the smart home system for network speed and stability. This has brought a new growth point to the EOC equipment market.
In smart agriculture, efficient farmland monitoring and management can be achieved through EOC technology.
The development of AI technology is driving the demand for higher performance and smarter embedded systems. The integration of EOC technology and artificial intelligence technology can realize the self-learning and self-adaptation functions of the device, and improve the intelligence level and user experience of the device.
Q: How to distinguish between EOC Master and Slave?
A: The EOC Master is responsible for transmitting the data from the broadband network to the coaxial cable, while the EOC Slave is responsible for converting the data over the coaxial cable into an Ethernet signal for transmission to the user terminal. Data always flows in one direction, i.e. from the master to the slave. A master device can connect up to 64 slave devices, use coaxial cable to connect various network devices to the Internet, and support functions such as high-definition video distribution, LAN sharing, and broadband Internet access.
