Outdoor Optical Nodes
Outdoor optical nodes are key equipment deployed in the field or harsh environments in telecom networks, mainly to complete the aggregation, distribution and remote management of optical signals, usually with waterproof, dustproof, lightning protection and other industrial-grade protection designs, and support a wide temperature range of -40°C~ 65°C. As the infrastructure of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and 5G fronthaul networks, it extends the capacity of the backbone network to the user side through passive optical splitting or active relay technology, and gradually becomes an important node of the open and decoupled all-optical access network with intelligent evolution (such as built-in ONU management and optical power monitoring).
