GT1800A&1800C is optical power meter and VFL integrated in one set. it has two ports, one is OPM, another is VFL(650nm). OPM port can be connected by FC,ST,SC, also can be LC(must be reserved when user place order). Frequency Modulate recognize(opt),WEB testing(opt).

\ GT1800 series use STN LCD, it has a wide viewing angle, you can see informations clearly in

any angle. and this LCD is bigger than others in market .

\ It use a long-life 650nm red light source, and its transmitting power is full 10mW.

\ it can recognize modulated frequency of the optical,270Hz,330Hz.1KHz,2KHz (paid option)

IMPORTANT FUNCTION

- USER SELF CALIBRATION

Press λand UNIT keypad together at the same time before switch on the meter, and then, switch on the meter ,now the meter will working in user self calibration working mode. you can increase or decrease the power value via press VFL or UNIT keypad. each time change 0.01dBm.notice:when the meter working in user self calibration working mode, the power unit will changed to be dBm automatically.

- RECOGNIZE MODULATE FRQUENCY

This function is an option function, and it is a rechargeable function. This meter can recognize the modulate frequency 270Hz,330Hz,1KHz,2KHz automatically. and the modulate Frequency will display on the LCD.(CW means continue wave, no modulate)

- CLEAR CALIBRATION DATA

Before switch on the meter, press LIGHT and VFL keypad together , and then switch on the meter, this meter will clear all calibration data automatically. This function is very important for user, because if user calibrate the power disordered, then the OPM will not measuring in right accuracy.

- NETWORK CABLE TESTING FUNCTION

This meter has network cable test function, when you connect the cable between meter and network cable tester well, and then press WEB key, this meter will test the cable automatically.
