1550nm Outdoor Laser Optical Transmitters is applied in the multi-channel transmission, the laser’s chirp effect will react with the link dispersion of the fiber. There will be distortion on the receiver. If working with the EDFA, there will be serious CSO deterioration. The distortion and deterioration will increase with the longer distance and more channels.
1550nm internal modulation CATV optic transmitter, has the chirp and dispersion compensation inside, and improves the system index greatly. It can be used in the town where the fund is shortage and the distance is less than 10Km as a transition solution.
